I can't begin to tell you how disappointing this book was for me. I honestly can't believe Jude Deveraux actually wrote it. The plot was all over the place and the characters were very disjointed. Half the time you couldn't tell who was related to whom. The Vera character was, for me, very unlikable to the point I wanted to scream every time there was dialogue coming from her. The ending was abrupt. I have loved Jude Deveraux's books for many many years. But, after this one I will check them out of the library so I don't waste the money like I did for this one.
